All About Balancing Babes

Bringing You Balance and Peace of Mind

Hi! I’m Diana, founder and owner of Balancing Babes. 
I’ve been a Labor and Delivery nurse since 2013, assisting in 800+ deliveries. 
In 2018, I was introduced to a new technique for achieving vaginal birth using unique labor positions/stretches.  
After only a few applications of this new technique, it became clear to me that this remarkable concept was what every pregnant mama-to-be needed in their life! 
Through years of hands on experience, continuous education, and independent research, I am excited to bring my own personal twist of these stretches and positions to prenatal clients in the form of Balancing Babes. 
By practicing Balancing Babes prenatally, my clients have enjoyed more comfortable pregnancies and are primed for delivery.

I'm so grateful that we met with Diana when we did! 
As someone who wants to have as much control as possible, pregnancy definitely threw me for a loop. Diana's positivity and genuine caring approach really helped put me at ease. 
Going through the exercises and positions she taught us together was an opportunity for my husband and I to feel even closer to one another and that much closer to our daughter-to-be (not to mention, each position was a really nice stretch for me!).

Prenatal Yoga Lesson

Our Sessions

Our sessions are a mix of active and passive postures to get your ligaments and muscles surrounding your pelvis to either engage or relax. This allows space for the babe to safely sink into his/her optimal position. 

45 minute Balancing Session

The 45 minute Balancing Sessions are a great way to deeply engage with your pregnancy journey. 
I often find that those who partake in balancing sessions twice a week are surprised and excited by how comfortable their pregnancy can be. 
In these sessions, I will do a real-time assessment of where the baby is positioned and provide a customized mix of active and passive postures to get your ligaments and muscles surrounding your pelvis to either engage or relax, depending on what your current needs are. 
This allows space for the baby to safely sink into his/her optimal position. 
You will be an active participant in the positions/stretches as we are walking through them together so you can feel confident in continuing your Balancing Babes routine at home in between sessions. 
I will also provide tips and tricks for when you go into labor.
